Blooming

Hello everyone from the wonderful country of Singapore! ❤️

A month had already passed since my last blog post and from then, so many awesome things happened. First, I’ve been blessed with a new job not to mention in a company that is very fashionable and I super love – Thank you God! Next thing is here I am in a foreign land for almost a month now having my training until July.

So far so good! I’ve visited different places here already and right now I’m going to show you a bit of what I captured from our little trip to Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. 🙂

20140518-021118.jpg
Tickets for tourists, including both Flower Dome and Cloud Forest is SGD28, but since we have our SPass, we only paid SGD20 per person. Yay! Locals pay much lower rates. 🙂

The highlight of them all was the Parisian setting. Everything was so pretty, and the flowers smell so good.

Basically, Flower Dome is all about different kinds of flowers from different parts of the world. You wouldn’t want to miss this spot if you’re going to visit Singapore! 🙂

Golden Hour

GH9

Another outfit I wore exploring the white beach. I think wearing anything floral printed is a requirement in any summer getaway, no question on that.

GH 5GH 1

Golden Hour, the last hour of light before sunset. Neil and I were glad to have been in the moment to enjoy and of course shoot! 🙂

My footwear even matches the sky.

GH 2

I totally had fun shooting during this wonderful time at the beach. The surrounding was beyond beautiful.

GH 6

After the shoot, we rewarded ourselves with fresh fruit shakes from Jonah’s Fruitshakes (a must try!) and secured a good spot to watch the sunset. It was like watching a light show, where the sky changes from one color to another. God is really amazing! ❤

So glad this island is in my home country, #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines. ❤

Hey Boracay!

I am FREEEEEEE! I mean for a little while. That’s why today I shall start making up for the lost times and blog (one by one) about my previous vacation trips beginning January of this year. First one is about our sweet escape to Boracay. 🙂

3

We stayed there for 5 days last January. They said it is considered a peak season but not super peak like during March to May. Actually, Mr Sun was’t appearing strong that time, which was perfect to do some land activities like riding ATV going to the hill where we can see a nice view of the island and more.

Cue music: Ride and Dirty. They see me rollin’…. hahaha That’s what we’re singing while driving, feeling cool yes. 🙂 Too much fun for me! 1 hr isn’t enough. Because of this experience I want to own an ATV. lol

During this land trip, we were also able to visit their amusement park “Dream Land”. There’s a Museum there with 3d Paintings where you can have your pictures taken according to your imagination. For example: 🙂

Yeah. And many more, I just decided to show you the best. 🙂

We also did this “biking in the sky”. I thought it was just a simple ride but it was scary, maybe it would’t be if there wasn’t a consistent noisy metal sound.

5

In the afternoon, we were set to go to the Crocodile Island but the waves won’t permit us so we did Snorkeling somewhere else. It was a bit sad because the water wasn’t that clear, we can’t see the beauty down there completely. They said it’s because of the weather since it’s cloudy and kind of gloomy. It was a good time to swim though, no sunburn!

1

After that, our bangkero brought us to a local open restaurant where all the other tourists also have their lunch after snorkeling.

6

Sorry, I don’t have any more photos of our food. Forgive me, we’re hungry kids. One thing’s for sure though, fresh island food are the best especially if you eat them by the sea! 🙂

Beach and Blues

This is one of the outfits I wore in our trip to Boracay early this year (which will I blog next). Since we were set to do Helmet Diving that afternoon, I opted for light clothes which I can wear over my swimsuit while strolling around the area first.

I always carry this tote because it had all my essentials. Perfect caption right?

Hong Kong 2013: Part 2 – Disneyland!

Hooray Disneyland!!! This has been the second time I went here and I think I will never ever get tired of it – so much fuuuun! 🙂 Plus everything is picture perfect! Well except my face, that looked so haggard in the middle of the day, almost melted under the scorching weather.

So, we took the train going there. We transferred from one train to another to get there and on the train going to Disney land this is how it looked like – cool! 🙂

The windows, seats, handles and some decorations inside it were all Mickey themed.

Then we arrived to the happy place! It was packed so queue was very long that day, we found out that it was the last day of summer vacation for students that’s why it seemed like all the kids were out there.

Pardon the second photo, I kinda look tired and my hair’s a bit messed up. I think this was captured after the parade when we got all wet since the theme was about RAIN.

And then the Toy Story Land – being there was like jumping in the movie screen with all the famous characters like Woody, Buzz and all the toys of Andy! (You know if you watched the movies.) PS. Didn’t ride the RC Racer – too lame. Kidding! I was scared, hoho. 🙂

Next photos were from the Disneyland Parade. Actually this was the one in the afternoon with the rainy theme, and the normal parade during noon was cancelled because of the rain. Why didn’t they just switched it, since they will shower us with water anyway? Haha

Hello Macau!

Hello and happy weekend everyone! Posting this outfit I wore during our day trip in Macau last month. We went there on the 4th day of our 5 days trip to Hong Kong (read about the Part 1 here) via Ferry and spent almost the entire day touring around the streets, grand hotels and Ruins of St. Paul.

Image

The patterns and colors printed on my top/dress reminds me of (yes aside from Versace) some interior details I saw inside Venetian and Galaxy Hotel. I love this top I got from Forever 21, because I could also wear it as a dress since I have a short frame. Still, I wore a loose black skort underneath to avoid some peek-a-boo moments.

ImageImage

Love this area where we took these shots, it was like a fake background, like the one inside The Venician – really pretty!

Image

A bowler hat would be a nice touch to this outfit only I wasn’t able to bring one with me. *sigh Anyway, a comfy and stylish shoes must not be forgotten in any trip.

Hong Kong 2013: Part 1

Hello! How was weekend so far? I hope everything is doing well with everyone. 🙂

Image

This post is about the first batch of snaps from my recent Hong Kong trip (with Neil, my cousin and friends) last month that I would like to share with you. Basically, these shots were from our Day 1 and 2 which we spent by walking all around streets of Kowloon side – Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok, Harbor View and just everywhere.

Image

Hong Kong is really beautiful. I love its side of busy streets filled with people in nice clothes, the areas that practices their rich culture and the preserved nature in between. Their transportation system is really good; they have MTRs (trains) that are interconnected to each other which can bring you instantly into different places – may it be in the famous shopping streets, malls and even Disneyland!

ImageImage

At Harbor view during night time. Watched the Symphony of Lights, really cool! 🙂

ImageImageImage

The next day (Sunday) after we attended our Hong Kong church’s morning service, we went walking around Central area a little. It’s the business district of Hong Kong, so there are lots of building (those you see at Harbor view) and this side is more modern than Kowloon.

ImageImage

Then were off to Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok for a little shopping. Visited the Langham Place as well and I was so happy to see Hello Kitty exhibits there. Talk about childhood love. 🙂

ImageImage

Look! bought egg waffles, this is really yummy! Got to try it the last time I went here with other friends.

Image

Neil and I had a quick snack at Mos Burger in Langham Place because we were starving already after endless of walking. Nom. 🙂

ImageImage

Hello Kitty Village! I posted limited pictures only because you might think Im a fanatic. lol

ImageImageImage

Stay posted for the next part. 🙂
