Blooming

Hello everyone from the wonderful country of Singapore! ❤️

20140518-000419.jpg

A month had already passed since my last blog post and from then, so many awesome things happened. First, I’ve been blessed with a new job not to mention in a company that is very fashionable and I super love – Thank you God! Next thing is here I am in a foreign land for almost a month now having my training until July.

So far so good! I’ve visited different places here already and right now I’m going to show you a bit of what I captured from our little trip to Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. 🙂

20140518-021118.jpg
Tickets for tourists, including both Flower Dome and Cloud Forest is SGD28, but since we have our SPass, we only paid SGD20 per person. Yay! Locals pay much lower rates. 🙂

The highlight of them all was the Parisian setting. Everything was so pretty, and the flowers smell so good.

Basically, Flower Dome is all about different kinds of flowers from different parts of the world. You wouldn’t want to miss this spot if you’re going to visit Singapore! 🙂

Golden Hour

GH9

Another outfit I wore exploring the white beach. I think wearing anything floral printed is a requirement in any summer getaway, no question on that.

GH 5GH 1

Golden Hour, the last hour of light before sunset. Neil and I were glad to have been in the moment to enjoy and of course shoot! 🙂

My footwear even matches the sky.

GH 2

I totally had fun shooting during this wonderful time at the beach. The surrounding was beyond beautiful.

GH 6

After the shoot, we rewarded ourselves with fresh fruit shakes from Jonah’s Fruitshakes (a must try!) and secured a good spot to watch the sunset. It was like watching a light show, where the sky changes from one color to another. God is really amazing! ❤

Hey Boracay!

I am FREEEEEEE! I mean for a little while. That’s why today I shall start making up for the lost times and blog (one by one) about my previous vacation trips beginning January of this year. First one is about our sweet escape to Boracay. 🙂

3

We stayed there for 5 days last January. They said it is considered a peak season but not super peak like during March to May. Actually, Mr Sun was’t appearing strong that time, which was perfect to do some land activities like riding ATV going to the hill where we can see a nice view of the island and more.

Cue music: Ride and Dirty. They see me rollin’…. hahaha That’s what we’re singing while driving, feeling cool yes. 🙂 Too much fun for me! 1 hr isn’t enough. Because of this experience I want to own an ATV. lol

During this land trip, we were also able to visit their amusement park “Dream Land”. There’s a Museum there with 3d Paintings where you can have your pictures taken according to your imagination. For example: 🙂

4

Yeah. And many more, I just decided to show you the best. 🙂

We also did this “biking in the sky”. I thought it was just a simple ride but it was scary, maybe it would’t be if there wasn’t a consistent noisy metal sound.

5

In the afternoon, we were set to go to the Crocodile Island but the waves won’t permit us so we did Snorkeling somewhere else. It was a bit sad because the water wasn’t that clear, we can’t see the beauty down there completely. They said it’s because of the weather since it’s cloudy and kind of gloomy. It was a good time to swim though, no sunburn!

1

After that, our bangkero brought us to a local open restaurant where all the other tourists also have their lunch after snorkeling.

6

Sorry, I don’t have any more photos of our food. Forgive me, we’re hungry kids. One thing’s for sure though, fresh island food are the best especially if you eat them by the sea! 🙂

Beach and Blues

This is one of the outfits I wore in our trip to Boracay early this year (which will I blog next). Since we were set to do Helmet Diving that afternoon, I opted for light clothes which I can wear over my swimsuit while strolling around the area first.

I always carry this tote because it had all my essentials. Perfect caption right?

Easy Plaid

Found this set of photos from my baul. haha Such a shame to waste them so I’m turning them into a blog post instead. I have a shorter hair now by the way, that explains how pretty old are these photos already 🙂 Nah, just 2-3 months old ok?

Easy Plaid (6 of 8) copy

Denim and plaid will always be a classic casual combo. It’s a perfect get-up in a tropical country like the Philippines.

I Need Mascara

Better late than never. >_<

Happy New Year everyone!!! 2014 will be full of wonders and excitement let’s declare!

Finally, I’m now able to squeeze in a quick blog post – from the past! Haha Yes, please let me. 🙂

I Need Mascara 6

This I wore to our 8th Anniversary last December (don’t worry I will not get cheesy about it). Since Neil and I were just planning on a simple casual date, I thought this leatherette skirt I got from a bazaar last Christmas season would be perfect because its girly and edgy at the same time. It was a perfect match to Neil’s gift as well, my Nike Dunk Sky Hi Mesh. Loved it so much that I wore it right away! ❤

Hihi, you know what was the bouquet for, of course every girl wants one once in a while, more importantly on special occasions. 🙂

The purse is actually my make-up kit, I just thought it will look good on my outfit so I brought it with me to shoot.

I Need Mascara 3

This shoes will definitely have a lot of appearances in the blog because it’s a new favorite! The boyfriend really knows how to make me happy, I am blessed. 🙂

#NewYouOfTheDay

Spot me!!! Was thrilled to know that my face or bangs rather (lol) will be all over Watch Republic Shop’s windows nationwide. At first, when my officemates (friends behind Watch Republic’s new campaign) asked if they can grab photos on my former blog (www.freshcupofkat.blogspot.com), I thought they’re just going to use it as samples for social medias and then bam! Haha I was glad though, its an honor to be part of the campaign.

Earthling

Whaaat? My last post was almost a month ago! Such a shame but I was really too busy with so many things the past few weeks. Different activities and deadlines took place at the same time (my lola’s 80th Birthday, work, sidelines, etc.) so I gave up this one in the meantime.

Well, I do hope my blogging habits would go back to normal starting with this style post. Thanks for bearing with me, I’m not perfect. 🙂

Earthling (6 of 9) copy

Went all casual with this outfit I wore last weekend to a day-out with the boyfriend. Notice that I’m just wearing plain shirt and shorts but since they are colored and I accessorized a bit, they didn’t look too simple. Talk about comfy dressing but still stylish enough for going out.

Can you guess what’s my inspiration for this look? How did you know it was the forest or mother nature?! Haha

Number 85

Hello! I know I still owe you more of my HK-Macau trip but in the meantime I hope an outfit post could make up for my week long blog hiatus.

85 (4 of 6)

So I wore this last weekend to Neil’s family lunch and then to a movie late in the afternoon with my college friends. I really love any borrowed-from-the-boys style of clothing incorporated into women’s outfit. I like how it looks so laid back yet stylish and edgy at the same time.

85 (6 of 6)

Sportswear fashion trend is very in this season, but I didn’t mean going out in your tennis or football uniform on a Friday night or something. The translation of this trend nowadays is not literal, just inspired but feminine, cleaner and with a bit of an attitude. It’s basically that cool casual chic look. I’ll tell you more about that next time and include some photo inspirations and how to as well. 🙂

85 (3 of 6)85 (2 of 6)

Pardon my angry-weird-looking face on the next photo. Haha, I didn’t mean to pose that way and I don’t have anymore photos to include since we can’t shoot properly that time.

85 (1 of 6)

Actually, I may be confused. Look how pa-cute my face is in the picture below. I guess it all falls down to the very reason that it’s really hard to get outfit shots with a lot of people in the area. At least for me. That’s why I cant really focus in front of the camera and pose like i don’t care about the stares and put on that “blogger-ready-shoot-mode”. haha #reasons

Leopard and Blues

Hello there! Just a short Style post before this weekend ends. 🙂

leopard and blues (7 of 8)

You can never go wrong with denim plus it is a classic piece that never goes out of style. Wore it over my leopard top and a knitted skirt to make the look a bit more casual.

leopard and blues (2 of 8)

Another key on making an outfit extra polished and well styled is by adding, not necessarily a lot, but some appropriate accessories. Like in this outfit I only wore minimal pieces that matches the color palette of my clothes.

leopard and blues (3 of 8)

Finished off this look by wearing a pair of brown-vintage-looking lace up booties from Forever 21.

leopard and blues (5 of 8)

Now, on a totally different note… Monday why coming so fast?! Well I can only wish weekends are extended. Anyhow, I just hope all of us will have an exciting and blessed week ahead! 🙂
